As we know, Windows needs the installation template to install a target version. It may be that template and target are vastly different systems needing their own drivers. Change the driver splitstreaming in a way that drivers for template come from different place than drivers for target.
Maybe we can continue wimboot splitstreaming for template and do DISM installation for target drivers ( I think NiKiZe had and excellent example about this)
