Would it be a good idea to use a new Arduino R4? I tried uploading this sketch to the new Arduino, but it obviously doesn't compile. The microcontroller is completely different. Would it be difficult to adapt this sketch to the new Arduino? Could there be improvements with the larger memory and more powerful microcontroller? Thanks!
