Bug description
Case 1:
Expected: While in any Android tool or app, pressing the Home button returns to the lockscreen, as this is LightOS behavior with its Tools.
Observed: This does not occur at all without a third-party Key Mapper, and when using such key mapper to remedy the functional issue, the Luma homescreen briefly flashes before switching to the Luma Lockscreen.
Case 2:
Expected: While in the Luma Homescreen, pressing the Home button from any page returns to the Lockscreen.
Observed: While in the Luma Homescreen, pressing the Home button only returns to the Lockscreen from the first page.
Steps to reproduce the bug
Before attempting either case, verify no key mapping application is in use on top of Luma.
Case 1
- Verify device is unlocked and has any Android app in the foreground.
- Press the Home button.
Case 2
- Verify device is unlocked and the Luma homescreen is showing on any page besides page 1.
- Press the Home button (middle button between volume controls on Light Phone III).
Luma Version
v2.0.15
Phone
Light Phone III
Screenshots/Screen recordings
No response
Additional information
As alluded to earlier, my workaround right now is to use a third-party key mapper to bind the Home button to 'Go to Home', which of course puts Luma back and into the Lockscreen. Biggest issue with the workaround is really just the brief flash of the Luma Homescreen before it switches to the Lockscreen.
And in case the info is somehow relevant, my test device has LightOS disabled. I have not tested function between Luma and LightOS.
