@wangzhecheng I see that there are aggregate statistics publicly available, but is there a plan to release the raw panel location & size data?

As our utility companies are less than interested in providing this information, we would also be interested in the raw locations of the installations or panels. It may also be worthwhile to provide a data dictionary regarding the dataset if you have one available. Really interesting work!

Hi all,

Thank you for your interest! We are still discussing with legal folks on the potential privacy issues that could result from releasing such data, as by releasing such data, whether one family install solar or not is open to the public. We will release the data containing lat/lon/size information of each solar panel once this problem is solved :)
