Evaluating Mike for Swiss legal research. opencaselaw.ch already exposes a public MCP server at mcp.opencaselaw.ch (24 tools, no key, 971k decisions), so the data side is ready. The open question is Mike's side: does the model provider layer support tool calls, and is MCP client support planned? Three questions, in order of how much of your time they take:
- Is MCP client support on the roadmap?
- If not yet, does Mike currently have any tool calling abstraction over its model providers, or is it chat completion only?
- If I built it, where would it live?
