Introduction

As part of the ongoing SEWA (Strengthening Early Warning in Africa) project, four new African stations will be contributing to WMO's DBNet. In order to identify the originators correctly, new entries are required in Common Code Tables C-11 and C-12. The following stations will be contributing:

AGEOS - L'Agence Gabonaise d'Etudes et d'Observations Spatiales - based at Nkok, Gabon
ACMAD - Centre Africain pour les Applications de la Météorologie au Développement - based in Niamey, Niger
ICPAC - IGAD Climate Prediction and Applications Centre - based near Nairobi, Kenya
SANSA - South African National Space Agency - Hartebeesthoek, South Africa

Originating Center Code - Originating Center Meaning - Sub-center code - Sub-center meaning

Note, in Common Code Table, ACMAD has already been assigned the entry 22
