A record not registering

Hi ,

If my hosted zone in aws route53 will have more than 100 A record sets, then this module will not updating with A records.

Do you have an example of some errors you can share to help me get started ? I'll try and setup something as you describe and see how that goes. Also, since the time this module was released, AWS actually released some PowerShell tools with the following cmdlets to manage AWS Route53 records as well just FYI:

Edit-R53ResourceRecordSet
Get-R53Change
Get-R53HostedZone
Get-R53HostedZones
Get-R53ResourceRecordSet
New-R53HostedZone
Remove-R53HostedZone

Thanks for your reply.

The update A record script that you created not able to search more than
100 resource records in route53 hosted zone. If the new record is listed in
the > 100 records of the zone, the script fails.

I suppose that Update-ARecord uses ListResourceRecordSets API call to get
all the RRs. We have more than 100 records in our hosted zone, this might
be the problem as ListResourceRecordSets has a constraint of getting a
maximum of 100 items in the response body for the request.

Below are the errors we are getting when we try to register using this
script.

DNS Service is Route53, IP is 104.45.76.178

Searching for zzztest.testds.net. in hostedzone: Z2DDVWRVYQD65E

Error, could not find zzztest.testds.net in hostedzone:Z2DDVWRVYQD65E,
exitting...

If we try to register A records with less than 100 record sets. Script will
successfully update the ip address.

As a side note, I've noticed that the script is using older API
(2011-05-05) and the latest version is (2012-12-12)
