inline images don't work in grids for a long time. Any guess how can I fix this?

We still use rest-admin and it is great stuff, but we stuck on an earlier version because inline images in grids don't work anymore. Just a link is displayed, instead of the image itself.

The problem also persists if I simply build the project from the repo and connect to test-api:

Any guess how can we fix it?
