I am am testing a Pure Storage array with xcp-ng against both xcp-ng 8.2.1 (latest patches) and 8.3 (latest patches). The Pure array is running the latest "Purity" OS 6.9.2.
Each xcp host has two NICs on two subnets matching two interfaces on Pure. Multipathing is enabled on xcp, and multipath.conf has the recommend device added from Pure:
https://support.purestorage.com/bundle/m_citrix/page/Solutions/Citrix/Citrix_XenServer/topics/reference/r_multipath_configuration.html
After creating a volume in Pure and trying to add it via the "New SR" right-click menu in xcp-ng center I receive the error:
"The SR could not be connected because the driver gfs2 was not recognized"
Pure does not pre-initialize storage with any filesystem, so this error makes no sense. There is no option to override and format with lvm.
When performing the exact same task using Xen Orchestra (XOA) the task completes without issue.
For whatever it's worth, this is the first time I have experienced this issue. Adding SRs from Dell Compellent and TrueNAS Enterprise has no issues. This seems to be specific to Pure. Since it works with XOA, my assumption is there's a shortcoming in xcp-ng center.
Update: xcp-ng center <25 (v24 and v20 tested) both work properly, but obviously only against xcp-ng 8.2.1 as they cannot connect to xcp 8.3. :) This definitely appears to be a bug in build #25119.
