QuarryPlus Recipe Suggestion

I saw this on a pdf somwhere. I liked very much the relationship between quarry and quarryplus, as it is then easy to implement in a modpack where recipes are tweaked : http://i.imgur.com/af2loVw.png
Is that an old version? Is there a way to have this crafting mode as option?

Is the difficulty now only changing the amount of items needed? Can I go over 3 - what will happen?

That is old recipe. It can't be used. Please install NEI.
And in current version, you can set RecipeDifficulty to over 3.
You get more increased difficulty of recipe.
I have no plan to revert recipe to old recipe.
But I have plan to remake recipe.
Please wait it
