Changing the position of textbox after save report

Hi everyone, I have a problem in charticulaator when I add a text or textbox in PlotSegmant, the position in the edit enviroment is ok, but after I save it and click the Back to report the apprecae is changed and the position of the textbox is changed.

Please help me what is the problem.

Your text box is floating, without any constriants.

Add guides to resolve the issue:

When objects doesn't have any contraints (bindings), the charticulator contraints solver assigns random values for position and width/height of text

Thank you so much for your solution, I did it :) . But there is one small problem, the position between the 2 charts it is not the same.

Even when I add another guide. Do you have any solution for that?

Gudes bind to chart. It seems you are trying to bind text on chart to rectangle in glyph.

It's not supported for now

Try to use multiple X guides, where count of guides matches with bars. It gives the same gap for all. Then you can add hidden rect with fixed width for adjustment. Can share example, in next week. Don't have laptop at the moment

The first approach is creating text on chart and binding to GUIDE:

Limitations:
Text is static and if bar count changes texts still stays the same.

Another approach is creating text in Glyph and applying conditional formatting:

Pay attention, when I create textbox I bind bottom corners to guides and set constant height because top corners aren't bound to guide.

Thank you so much for your samples. I had to used your solution and also add two others Guide Y to fixed the textboxes. I do not know why I have this problem, maybe the version of charticulator is different!

@shabnamh63 you didn't bind rect to top borders of glyph:

Drag & drop one of rect corners to top corner of glyph:

After that:

So, you use half of glyph space for rect, and another half of gyph is "reserved" as empty
