Testcase test-simple_monitor fails

how can I solve that one?

Same error (and I see others reporting too). I haven't dug into the test case, but the make install "succeeds" and the library gets installed. What are the consequences of this test failures (beside the obvious implication that it is not good). Thanks.

Open file src/tests/test_socket.cpp, search test_simple_monitor, then comment out the line BOOST_CHECK_EQUAL("tcp://0.0.0.0:0", message.get(1)); in 2 places. ¡Voila! make check will pass without errors (but NO GUARANTEE that this program will work correctly 😜). Furthermore, you should use make client before make install in order to build zmqpp.
