Trouble installing DSA package

Using both R studio & R x64 3.1.1
Package not recognised in appropriate directory on computer where I placed it (i.e. not available to be selected). Have done this for other packages in the past with no problems. Am I missing something here?

You can install this by install packages from local zip option in R.

if you download the .zip file, unzip it and then run R CMD INSTALL DSA it should install.

Unfortunately, I did not manage to install the package with devtools:

install.packages("devtools")
library(devtools)
devtools::install_github("zhandong/DSA")

Error: Failed to install 'unknown package' from GitHub: HTTP error 404. Not Found Did you spell the repo owner (zhandong) and repo name (DSA) correctly? - If spelling is correct, check that you have the required permissions to access the repo.

If someone else is struggling, you can circumvent the problem by downloading the git repo and installing it from local source:

setwd("./libs/")
utils::download.file(url = "https://github.com/zhandong/DSA/archive/master.zip", destfile = "DSA.zip")
utils::unzip(zipfile = "DSA.zip")
install.packages("./DSA-master/Package/version_1.0/DSA_1.0.tar.gz", repos=NULL, type="source")
