Inquiry about Windows version of Donut Browser

Hi Donut Browser team,

I’ve been following your project for several months and I’m really excited to try it on Windows. I noticed there’s currently no executable available for this platform, and I wanted to ask if you have an estimated release date or any test version planned.

I’d love to test Donut Browser on my PC!

Yes, Windows version is planned. An estimate is about 4 months

What do the .exe and .msi installers that the nightly build is outputting do currently? Anything? Just curious!

It is the app, but it will not work correctly. Some things might work, but most won't because I haven't tried opening the project on Windows myself haha. It is just super easy to enable Windows builds for Tauri applications, so I did that to make it easier for me to integrate Windows support in the future as while I'm making changes to the project right now I see that it still compiles on Windows.

This is a great anti-detected browser tool. I want that when you are developing the Windows version, when generating a profile, you can select the device: Windows, Android, Apple, Mac, so that it becomes unique to the Camoufox browser. And you can customize your own user agent.
