A free, open-source desktop app that gives Claude Code CLI a rich structured UI.
CCUX runs Claude Code CLI as a headless subprocess and renders the conversation in a three-pane desktop layout:
- Sidebar — Sessions, skills, automations
- Conversation — Rendered Claude Code output with tool calls, thinking, and streaming
- Artifact Pane — Code viewer, diffs, markdown
It inherits everything from your existing Claude Code setup: auth, MCP servers, skills, CLAUDE.md, 1M context, and all tools.
- macOS (Apple Silicon)
- Claude Code CLI installed and signed in
Download the latest .dmg from GitHub Releases, move CCUX.app to Applications, and open it.
