Browser Use / Computer Use roadmap?

Hi, thanks for maintaining codex-web. I’m using it on a Linux server mainly because it stays close to the official Codex Desktop experience.

Just wondering about the current status of:

• Browser Use / built-in browser control
• Computer Use on Linux
• Viewing or monitoring browser sessions from the web UI

I saw the existing Browser Use PR #16. Is that still the planned approach, or will it need to be reworked for the newer Codex Desktop builds?

Also, is Linux Computer Use something you’re planning to support?

No need for a firm ETA. I’m mainly curious about the current roadmap and any major blockers.

hey yeah actually it seems like if you just give codex nix and tell it to do stuff it builds its own computer use and it works pretty well. it runs an x server and the uses xinput to click on things. same for chrome. works so well i'm not sure its worth adding the harness even
