Live inspector for Unreal Engine 4/5 games. Inject a DLL, get an MCP server + dashboard for AI agents to explore objects, actors, classes, and function calls at runtime.
UnrealMCP.dllis injected into the game. It hooksProcessEvent(MinHook, vendored) and serves a streamable-HTTP MCP server on127.0.0.1.- Config is just engine version + a few offsets — no SDK needed.
UnrealMCP_Host.exeruns the same server in mock mode so you can test without a game.
1. Configure — copy an example and fill in offsets for your game (Dumper-7 works):
copy configs\UE4_example.json UnrealMCP.json{
"engine_version": "UE4",
"port": 13338,
"offsets": {
"GObjects": "0x...",
"GWorld": "0x...",
"GNames": "0x...",
"ProcessEvent": "0x...",
"ProcessEventIdx": 68
}
}2. Build (CMake 3.25+, VS2022, x64):
cmake --preset x64-release
cmake --build --preset x64-release3. Inject build\x64-release\bin\Release\UnrealMCP.dll into the game with any injector. Then open:
- MCP:
http://127.0.0.1:13338/mcp - Dashboard:
http://127.0.0.1:13338/
4. Try without a game (mock mode):
.\build\x64-release\bin\Release\UnrealMCP_Host.exe --mockhealth, gobjects, world, find_objects, inspect, list_actors, list_classes, list_functions, find_function, dump_props, class_hierarchy, pe_trace, read_bytes
curl -X POST http://127.0.0.1:13338/mcp -H "Content-Type: application/json" \

127.0.0.1only. Never expose the port publicly. - Game-thread safe: tool calls run via a job queue pumped from the
