Problem

1.3.0 removed the rating, review_count and in_stock output columns (and the unused --captcha-api flag). The 1.0.0 notes declare the CLI flags and the output schema a public interface whose breaking changes go to 2.0.0, so a minor version was the wrong signal for consumers pinned to 1.x.

Change

  • CHANGELOG.md: new ## [2.0.0] — 2026-10-15 section above 1.3.0 explaining that 2.0.0 is the same code as 1.3.0, re-released as a major version; anyone pinned to 1.x should stay on 1.2.1 or adapt.
  • pyproject.toml: version 2.0.0.
  • No code change. The v1.3.0 tag and release stay; its release notes get a one-line "superseded by v2.0.0" note.

Evidence

  • python3 smoke_test.py (core-only venv): exit 0, including [PASS] pyproject.toml and CHANGELOG.md agree on version 2.0.0.

🤖 Generated with Claude Code

2.0.0 is the same code as 1.3.0. 1.3.0 removed the rating, review_count
and in_stock columns, a break of the row schema that belongs in a major
version.
