All mods in this repository are Lua mods developed for Subnautica 2, built to run on UE4SS.
Requires UE4SS for Subnautica 2.
- If you have not done so yet, please first download and install UE4SS for Subnautica 2.
- Download the desired mods. You can get these on my Nexus Mods account or OpenMods, or by manually downloading them from this repository.
- Place the mod folder(s) that you downloaded into the
Subnautica2\Subnautica2\Binaries\Win64\ue4ss\Modsfolder. - That's all you need to do! You should be ready to launch the game with mods now. A file named UE4SS.log will be created in the ue4ss folder if it is working correctly.
Gives 1 copper upon scanning an already known fragment, on top of the normal reward of titanium.
Unlocks all possible inventory slots at the start of the game. This change is not reversible. While the developers intended for players to unlock these naturally over time, this mod particularly helps if you missed a location and don't want to go looking for it.
Unlocks more biomod slots. Configurable, but unlocks 1 extra by default.
Adds various new commands and a basic framework for adding more. Full command list here.
Allows you to set any custom number of slots for the toolbar. Edit the config.lua file to customize the number of slots.
Extends the Scanner Station's range by 200 meters (configurable).
Activates the in-game command console. You can open this with the Enter key.
Warning
It is very easy to accidentally misuse the command console. I don't suggest using this in multiplayer unless everyone in the game is willing to take the risks.
Enables the 'Developer Game' button on the main menu that lets you load into various developer testing maps. This can be useful for quickly testing mods and exploring some unused/hidden content.
Replaces the AI voice in habitats with the base voice from the first game.
