About

This study integrates calcium-looping with methane dry reforming in a polygeneration Carnot battery, enabling lower-temperature operation, CO₂ capture, and syngas coproduction. System optimization achieves an LCOE of 0.94 ¥/kWh and 20.5% round-trip efficiency, offering attractive grid-scale storage with valuable by-products.
