docs: mark unmaintained, trim README to what still matters - #5

The repo now lives at 4242labs/hamlet. Add the repostatus.org "inactive" badge and say plainly what the state is: built in 2016, not being developed, kept online on purpose as an artifact of pre-LLM information retrieval. A visitor should learn that before they file anything. Drop the UI section — speech bubbles and a welcome modal are not why anyone opens this repo — and the Deploy section, which documented a release step for a project that is not being released. What's left is the quote, the status, the retrieval pipeline, how to run it, and the licence, which the README never mentioned despite the MIT LICENSE file sitting beside it.

The repo was transferred
42piratas/hamlet→4242labs/hamletbefore this PR; the old URL redirects and all 18 deployments came across. This is the content half.Status
Added the repostatus.org
inactivebadge and a[!NOTE]saying it outright: built in 2016, not being developed, kept online on purpose as an artifact of pre-LLM information retrieval. Issues and PRs may sit indefinitely.inactiverather thanunsupported— the latter signals the author wants a new maintainer, which isn't the case here.inactiveis "stable and usable, no longer actively developed", which is exactly it. The recent commits in the log are fleet-wide sweeps (favicon, LGTM gate, OG tags), not project maintenance, so an "active" badge would have been false.Trimmed
Hark!modal. Not why anyone opens this repo.vercel --prodas a release step for a project that isn't being released.Added
A License section. The repo has shipped an MIT
LICENSEsince 2016 and the README never mentioned it.Also fixed, outside the diff
The repo's About pointed at
hamlet-nltk.vercel.appwhile the README pointed athamlet.42labs.io. Both serve, but the 42labs domain is the canonical one — About now matches. Description and topics refreshed too.
