Summary

  • Adds bedrock as a first-class LLM provider in core/llm.py via the AnthropicBedrock SDK client
  • Auth uses the ambient IAM role on ECS — no API key stored anywhere
  • Cross-region inference profiles supported (us., eu., ap. prefixes derived from AWS_BEDROCK_REGION)
  • Preflight check accepts Bedrock-only deployments without requiring ANTHROPIC_API_KEY
  • Dev agent TDD loop unchanged — stays on claude-code (Claude Code CLI cannot call Bedrock)

Target config (mixed deployment)

```yaml
crash_handler: provider: bedrock, model: claude-haiku-4-5
qa: provider: bedrock, model: claude-haiku-4-5
dev: provider: claude-code, model: claude-sonnet-4-6 # unchanged
```

Test plan

  • Set crash_handler and qa to provider: bedrock in config.yaml
  • Set AWS_BEDROCK_REGION=us-east-1 and ensure AWS credentials are available
  • POST a test Sentry webhook — verify crash_handler and QA complete successfully
  • Check Langfuse traces: provider field reads bedrock for crash_handler and QA
  • Verify dev agent still creates a PR (still on claude-code)
  • Run pytest — no regressions

Adds _complete_bedrock() to core/llm.py using AnthropicBedrock SDK client
with cross-region inference profile support. get_bedrock_region() reads
AWS_BEDROCK_REGION env var with config.yaml fallback. Preflight check
accepts Bedrock-only deployments without requiring an Anthropic API key.
Dev agent TDD loop remains on claude-code (Claude Code CLI cannot call Bedrock).
