Retires 23 obsolete mechanics legacy files and preserves original full Git SHA/path recovery (AOST-D-0024). Active owner contracts preserved; 53 focused checks passed. Canonical family verified with actual clean pinned14ee producer; superseded task receipts removed and final producer closure checked. No shared metric meaning or live publisher changes.
Cross-owner coordination: part of the reviewed 14-owner Spark/legacy surface-retirement wave. README human meaning and AGENTS routing remain distinct; closed history stays recoverable in Git rather than an active archive directory. Merge is held until every owner is prepared and required current-head CI is green. No release or deployment is requested.
