Thank you to those that participated in the ACEMS SportsStats2017 Workshop!

It was great to have all the expertise in the room. I look forward to getting together again, and keeping the conversations going.

Within the discussion at the conclusion of the workshop, the following were identified as potential actions moving forward.

1. Training for Sports Researchers - R, Bayesian, visualisation, predictive modelling.
2. Journals (advocacy to create acceptance and awareness of a wider range of acceptable statistical methods)
3. Common stats issue - "Small n"
