AI Overview Content Review Skill

A Claude Code skill for reviewing blog posts and documentation to maximize citations in AI Overviews (Google) and ChatGPT responses.

What it does

Reviews your content against the AI SITE framework:

• Answer First - Lead with the answer, not fluff
• Intent-Matched Headings - Descriptive H2s, not "Step 1"
• Structure - Lists and tables, not walls of text
• Index Schema - FAQ and HowTo markup
• Trusted Sources - Link to authoritative references
• Explicit Expertise - Original frameworks and real examples

Usage

1. Copy ai-overview-review.md to your project's .claude/skills/ directory
2. Ask Claude to review your content:
   • "Review this post for AI overviews"
   • "How can I optimize this for ChatGPT citations?"
   • "Check this against the AI SITE framework"

Why this matters

LLMs are lazier than Google. They want pre-structured, direct answers they can grab without analysis. Sites with DR6 are outranking established brands by simply formatting better.
