Drug Repurposing Notebook

This project presents a simple workflow for drug repurposing analysis using publicly available bioinformatics and chemoinformatics resources.

The notebook retrieves disease-associated biomolecular targets (I used data for Alzheimer disease as example) from the Open Targets Platform and combines them with bioactivity information from ChEMBL in order to identify ligands and compounds potentially relevant for drug repurposing.
