What this is

The tangible Effort for the current CRUDE floors experiment. Not chat. Not a local-only cache. This issue stays open until the bubbles below resolve or HITL parks them.

How it moves without HITL restating

Architect assigns hops; clerks post receipts on child issues; Architect updates both this table and effort-board.md when a bubble splits, greens, or blocks. If they disagree, trust the MD on main after the latest board PR, then fix this issue in the same hop.

Park / close

Engine / new-primitive / NO_HOLE → hitl-engine-park.md (no widget-wait). Close this Effort when A′ + B are green enough that C is the focus, or HITL parks the experiment.

Generator: e.g. scripts/generate_floors_board.py (or extend generate_status only if status is already Effort/agents-honest post-v1 cleanup — prefer a separate script so status.html is not a second brain).

Page: docs/FLOORS_BOARD.md (or local/agents/diagrams/floors-board.md next to Effort board) — generated, never hand-edit.

Join rules (thin):

1. Row set = gather methods from schema (or offline-gold catalogue ∪ release_matrix methods).
2. floor_source = gold if method in gold_floors.json and tagged device-proved / HITL gold — else no-floor until A′ proves (sanitized sample alone ≠ floor).
3. offline = latest offline_gold_matrix class for that method (map mismatch→fail, match→pass, config_absent/gold_absent→untested or empty).
4. mops/snmp/ssh = aggregate from release_matrix without emitting device IPs (pass if any eligible device pass and none fail; else fail; absent→untested). Prefer fixture receipts / A′ comments when matrix is stale.
5. meets floor implied: protocol cell pass only counts when floor_source=gold.

Bounds

• Docs: generator + page + --check in offline CI.
• Test: owns matrix/gold inputs and named proves that feed cells.
• No lab identity in generated page.
• Do not invent floors from sanitized-only XML.
• Implement only if this stays harness/docs — not Engine.

Approve this shape (or thinner: Effort-board child table only for floored methods)? If yes, Docs+Test split: Docs lands generator stub + empty enum; Test wires real cell provenance.

Docs clerk — floors board stub (#195 design, Docs half)

Flow: Architect greenlit Docs stub → separate generator (not status.html) → generated SoT + --check in offline CI → PR. Did not wait on Test provenance.

Ruled out: Inventing floor_source=gold from sanitized gold_floors.json; stuffing glance into status.html; filling protocol cells from release_matrix (lab IPs / stale); calling offline_gold_matrix (needs napalm; optional fill deferred).

• mops/snmp/ssh: aggregate tests/release_matrix.json verdicts per method (eligible pass & no fail → pass; any fail → fail; none → untested). Never write host keys into the page or the fixture.
• meets floor: protocol pass only counts when floor_source=gold.
• SSH may stay mostly untested if matrix scope is mops/snmp only — honest.

Out of scope: Engine park; inventing gold from sanitized sample; lab identity on GitHub.

• Added tests/fixtures/floors_provenance.json (aggregates only; no host/IP keys).
• Patched scripts/generate_floors_board.py to consume fixture (enum kept; --check kept).
• Regenerated docs/FLOORS_BOARD.md.

Join rules used

• floor_source=gold only when release_matrix mops verdict aggregate = pass (device-proved). Sanitized gold_floors.json alone ≠ gold.
• offline: offline_gold_matrix classes (match→pass, mismatch→fail, config_absent/empty→empty, else untested).
• mops/snmp/ssh: matrix verdicts (any fail→fail; else any pass→pass; else untested). Matrix has no ssh protocol cells today → ssh stays untested.
