Resume the saved onboarding step
When a returning visitor has a partial or completed draft, the intro correctly labels this action “Continue building my flow,” but it always navigates to step 0 rather than answers.step. Entering that route also causes the persistence effect to rewrite the stored step to 0, so every revisit restarts at Sources instead of resuming where the visitor stopped. Route to the validated saved step for existing drafts while retaining step 0 for new drafts.

🗄️ Data Integrity & Integration | 🟠 Major | 🏗️ Heavy lift
Enforce the documented inactivity boundary before resuming.
After a tab is hidden for more than 30 minutes, this resumes the existing FlowJourneyTracker. journeyId() only runs during tracker creation. The resumed events keep the old journey_id, although web/analytics/flows-funnel.txt defines a 30-minute inactivity window.
Expire and replace the tracker before recording resumed activity after that interval. Update the persisted activity timestamp for continuing journeys. Otherwise, funnel reports can join separate journeys and overstate conversion.

🗄️ Data Integrity & Integration | 🟠 Major | ⚡ Quick win
Push fixer revisions only after tests pass.
The default fixer prompt in web/lib/flow-agent-settings.ts says, “Commit and push fixes.” In the traditional workflow, f.agent("fixer", ...) runs before npm test, after the PR is already published. The fixer can therefore push an untested commit to the PR. The workflow has no explicit push after npm test, so a fixer that does not push leaves the tested commit local.
Change the fixer prompt to commit without pushing. Add await f.run("git push"); immediately after the fixer’s npm test command.

The Flows landing page demonstrates a complete feature-request workflow and leads visitors into a software factory builder. The builder turns source filters, selected coding agents, and a workflow preset into downloadable flow code, then offers local execution or a Cloud handoff.
/cloud/flows/importfor the separate Cloud import and sign-in implementation.web/analytics/flows-funnel.txt.Validation: 52 relevant tests pass across onboarding, agent settings, local kits, funnel tracking, and site analytics. TypeScript and staged whitespace checks pass. Browser checks verified the preview editor, saved code changes, restored defaults, and removal of feedback prompts.
Runtime limits: actual agent execution and Cloud sign-in were not exercised. Cloud import/dashboard changes are maintained in the separate Cloud repository. Cursor and OpenCode compatibility with the pinned local runner still needs verification. All generated presets stop for human review and never merge automatically.
This update uses
[skip ci]to avoid the automatic PR preview deployment, which requires separate approval under the repository rules. No merge or deployment was performed; required recorded reviews remain pending.Note
Medium Risk
Large new user-facing onboarding and Cloud handoff carrying generated flow configuration; analytics and session replay need correct masking and env keys at build time.
Overview
Adds a software factory onboarding path on the marketing site: routed steps for issue sources (with filters), coding agents, workflow presets, and a live Preview/Code panel that assembles
software-factory.flow.ts. Visitors can download a local zip kit (fflate) or continue to Cloud via/cloud/flows/importwith a handoff payload and optionaljourney_idfor analytics continuity.Workflow & agents: Three presets (Traditional, Prototype, Simple) with per-step agent settings (CLI, model, prompt) persisted in the draft and emitted into generated code. Supporting libs cover sources, workflows, draft validation/migration, and local kit contents.
Flows landing: Primary CTAs now point to
/flows/onboardinginstead of direct Google OAuth. Adds landing PostHog events, an open-source GitHub section, hero/copy tweaks, and a much larger interactive workflow demo (scrubbable timeline, gates, human approvals, review loops) backed byfeature-request-demo.ts. Session replay masks inputs and.ph-sensitivesurfaces.Analytics: PostHog funnel v2 (
flows_onboarding_*,journey_id, stage timing/friction events) viauseFlowAnalytics/FlowJourneySession, plusweb/analytics/flows-funnel.txtfor report definitions./flowsis included in site page-view grouping. Also expands flow examples, adjusts flows page styling, and adds
expandedPreviewlayout for the gate feature block.Reviewed by Cursor Bugbot for commit a15594c. Bugbot is set up for automated code reviews on this repo. Configure here.
