This is a suite of tools created in order to allow greater customization of Maya’s user environment. This project is currently a work in progress so some aspects may not function as intended.
Adds a new “Themes” menu item to Maya’s menu bar. Navigate to it to cycle through the available presets.

- Go to releases to download the latest "MayaUIChanger.zip" version.
- Place the "MayaUIChanger" folder in your Maya scripts directory e.g "..\Documents\maya\2027\scripts\MayaUIChanger".
- Copy the "userSetup.py" file in the folder to your top level Maya scripts directory e.g "..\Documents\maya\2027\scripts.
- Launch Maya.
- Optionally you can run the "SplashLoader_installer.py" script in the MayaUIChanger folder to add the SplashLoader tool to your shelf.
- The Splash loader requires running Maya as an administrator due to it's need to write to the user folder where Maya's Splash image lives. This is not ideal, so im open to ways to bypass this completely.
- Navigate to the fonts folder in the script directory to install the optional “dejavu-sans” and “Rajdhani” font packs. These fonts enhance the look of the theme presets but are not required for their functioning.
The currently available features are as follows;
- Maya Splash Tool

A tool to customize Maya's splash screen is also bundled with this project. Though It requires launching Maya with adminstrator access in order to function correctly.
The script accepts png and jpeg image formats but currently only allows .wav files for audio. Simply run the SplashLoader.py script to use or alternatively run the "SplashLoader_installer" to save the script to your shelf for easy access.
