I'm building toward software-integrated manufacturing: a machine shop where the shop floor and the codebase work as one system. Getting there by way of two decades in IT infrastructure and network engineering, now retooled for machine learning and full stack development.
Current builds
Footnote · live site An epistemic infrastructure engine. Classifies claims (factual, opinion, mixed) with Claude-powered AI, applies configurable citation policies, and connects users to local civic data. Express API, React front end, deployed on AWS EC2. Active build with a public roadmap.
Predictive Maintenance Platform (AI4I 2020) Edge-deployed machine health monitoring for small manufacturing shops. Gradient-boosted classification plus anomaly detection, FastAPI, React dashboard, PostgreSQL. Runs offline on a mini PC with physical sensors, no cloud required. Built on a simple thesis: for most small businesses, the value of ML lives at the edge, in small data.
Blog platform Production full stack blog with JWT auth and role-based access control. React, Express, PostgreSQL, deployed to AWS EC2 with nginx, PM2, and automated SSL. Backed by a 116-test suite.
Background ~20 years in IT operations, voice/network engineering, and infrastructure (CCNA) Currently completing three concurrent programs: full stack development (Metana), AI/ML engineering (UT Dallas), and an applied manufacturing degree (Purdue Global) Kaggle: competing in the RSNA Knee Abnormalities Detection competition Stack
