Standalone follow-ups to selected Controls were missing from Work Queue because membership copied relationship arrays without recognizing the source record's own ID. Program Policies are derived from selected Controls, so falling back to a nonexistent Program policy list also excluded valid work and understated overdue counts.
Use shared source relationship traversal for ordinary Actions, Obligations, event creation, and workflow deadlines. Preserve explicit Program and Audit ownership, Control and System scope, and source Component relationships so unrelated work stays out even when Programs share Policies or supporting systems. Traversal handles chained sources and cycles.
Assigned event checklist tasks remain visible after their Obligation retires. Independent follow-ups sourced from a Policy Event retain their own lifecycle. Ordinary Actions open their validated record editor in both browser and CLI guidance, and workflow no longer recreates filtered or canceled tasks from deadlines. Default Program selection now agrees across interfaces.
Release both packages as backward-compatible patch 0.16.35. No model migration is required.
Validation:
CI=true npm run validateon Node 24 and Git 2.53.0. Apple Git 2.54.0 failed temporary history-fixture commit creation locally; the same full test file passes with bundled Git.
