Do NOT merge this. We need verification to see if this breaks any hive 1.2.1 unit and integration test before we can confidently merge this.
This was tested by producing a new
hive-service-1.2.1.jarand loaded into Spark 3 (STS) runtime classpath.Compiling hive locally pass.
