Port Refract frame, texture and emulator performance improvements while retaining AXRB features. Default to GPU BC3 with BC7 selectable, and restore the compatible QEMU APIC default. Add multi-game ZIP export/import, safe export filenames, storage IPC repair, launcher debloat controls, regression coverage and license notices. Include experimental Digitalis build tooling and patches; live emulator validation remains pending. Validation: 276 launcher tests, production UI and setup build passed; native and Android runtime checks are documented in the performance port audit.
Brings the 1.0.4 performance, texture and ZIP export work into the branch that already carries PR Android-XR-Bridge#18 (legacy Oculus loader startup). The two touch runtime/src/frame_transport.cpp and tests/CMakeLists.txt in separate places and merged without conflicts. Co-Authored-By: Claude Opus 5.5 <noreply@anthropic.com>
…ncy fixes Track the emulator-free direct runner (direct/) with its build scripts, launcher integration and CI workflow. Send every composition layer of non-GPU frames as pixel parts and compose them on the host instead of dropping all but the primary layer; drop undeliverable frames rather than failing xrEndFrame. Reduce controller pose latency and add tests. Co-Authored-By: Claude Opus 5.5 <noreply@anthropic.com>
Replace the source-available terms with the MIT License for everything outside launcher/, which remains GPL-3.0-or-later. Third-party code keeps its own licenses. Co-Authored-By: Claude Opus 5.5 <noreply@anthropic.com>

Direct exposes the game and legacy Oculus driver, but games may load initialization classes/native libraries from another explicitly supplied package. This adds read-only companion APK/library mounts, bounded per-session package registration, class-loading contexts and exported MAIN activity discovery. A package-to-APK-path JSON map opts in per game; no companions are enabled by default.
Preparation rejects duplicate APKs, missing files and more than eight companions; package identity conflicts fail before the game activity starts. Each companion retains a separate library directory and uses existing checked extraction/cache invalidation. No third-party packages, game content, saves, credentials, ownership-state changes or remote account services are included.
Validation infrastructure fixes the Windows PowerShell expected-stderr reverse-patch probe and makes CI use its installed NDK 29 instead of a preinstalled older SDK. Shared UI fixtures now distinguish emulator installation from Direct import and provide both required setup folders.
Validation passed on code revision 5b44206: full Windows CI native build, translator checks, real ART/JNI/Binder/framework probes, companion package contexts/Java code loading, and Digitalis framework probes. The exact successful artifact was digest-verified and exercised locally: companion and legacy-driver probes pass; a separately supplied Platform initialization package loads its entry point and ARM64 library. Eight Python staging regressions, Java fixture/bootstrap builds, Windows PowerShell probe checks and both launcher UI smoke suites also pass. The final follow-up commit changes validation documentation only.
Iron Man's headset/gameplay behavior and performance remain untested with this build. Keep the PR as a draft pending that test; no game compatibility or performance guarantee is made.
