What to build

Give Connect Four column controls, authoritative drop feedback, turn clarity, win-line treatment, spectator/disconnect state, and rematch quality.

Acceptance criteria

• Columns are explicit semantic controls; confirmed pieces animate into the authoritative row.
• Turn, invalid move, waiting, spectator, disconnect, forfeit, win line, draw, and rematch states are clear.
• Reduced-motion and mobile layouts remain fully operable.
• Component and two-browser play/win/spectator/disconnect/rematch E2E pass.
• Behaviour is built in vertical red → green cycles through public interfaces where implementation changes are required.
• An independent reviewer gives READY and all required GitHub CI is green.
• Deployment-sensitive behavior is verified on production after merge.
