Qualify and ship Local ASR on Fedora KDE Wayland #270

Description

Parent

What to build: Build the supported Fedora package and complete the clean-host L6 release gate on Raja's Fedora KDE Wayland PC over SSH plus supervised desktop/audio actions. Arch/Hyprland evidence remains pilot-only.

Blocked by: #269 and all required exact-head repository checks.

Status: blocked · P1 · L6 supported-profile gate

  • Build the exact RPM/SRPM from the reviewed commit and record package, binary, runtime, model, and corpus hashes.
  • Verify clean-account install, consented Setup, service start, effective unit/worker restrictions, model health, and Ready without developer environment overrides.
  • Verify login/reboot, offline cold restart, upgrade preserving bad-model repair, retained-model restore, compatible rollback, uninstall ownership, and private-settings preservation.
  • On the real KDE Wayland desktop, verify Trigger Key uniqueness, microphone capture, focus changes, guarded Delivery/Paste/Type behavior, clipboard preservation, suspend/resume, worker death, and truthful Overlay/status/doctor behavior.
  • Run the required process-tree network trace and restriction probes on the packaged service.
  • Repeat required quality/performance failure baselines using the integrated packaged application.
  • Record exact commands, exit codes, timestamps, Fedora/kernel/KDE/driver profile, and pass/fail reasons.
  • Separate SSH-scriptable gates from actions requiring Raja at the microphone or desktop; never invent supervised results.
  • Require green CI and independent review on the exact release head before claiming Fedora support.
  • After RPM installation is confirmed, remove disposable dist/rpm, dist/srpm, rpmbuild, and merged worktree artifacts per repository disk policy.

Human gate: Raja will provide SSH access to the Fedora PC when this ticket becomes ready and will perform microphone, Trigger Key, focus, suspend, and Delivery interactions that cannot be proven remotely.

Do not include: support claims for Arch, GNOME, X11, other languages, GPUs, or machines not explicitly measured.
