not exactly, letters are thin, pixelised, looks weird (and missing of course). in loading screen also in game (everywhere, hud, info, esc menu).
previous ver works well, see above what versions.

Softlock is gone with latest 1.0.0.8 version but there is no menu in settings anymore. Realistic Lifestock works it seems.

You need to change the resolution scaling setting. The normal fonts have not been changed since 1.0.0.6, the mod probably put you at the lower resolution scale automatically. Change it up to high res in the general settings. If you are already at high res, put it down to low.

For the missing characters, please tell me which ones are missing, then i can add them in.

Why should I do this? I've set res scale off because I play on 24" 1920x1200. I do not need res scale, my gfx card is able enough on this resolution. It seems, realistic Lifestock works without any changes through FontLibrary but not without it as a installed mod. Text is readable with 75% UI scaling here. Why it needs FontLibrary? Maybe a version of realistic Lifestock without the dependency on FontLibrary would be an improvement. I've only installed FontLibrary because it is a dependency of RL.

There is no "off". you are thinking of the wrong resolution scale setting. FL has its own settings menu. change the one in there, it is located in the General Settings menu, called "Resolution Scaling". it will be at the bottom the general settings menu

RL without FL is not a possibility at all. There are many reasons why i have opted to use this dependency for 3d text rendering as opposed to the very basic engine renderer:

1. Less impact on performance
2. more fonts (especially useful for handwritten texts which RL uses a lot)
3. more font styling (italic, strikethrough, underline, marked out) which RL also uses a lot
4. Ease of coding
5. FontLibrary in essence was intended only to be a dependency for my mods, not to be a standalone mod, as it adds many more options to text rendering
6. none of the FL features are forced on, they can be turned on and off at will like features from RealisticWeather and RL

And you didn't answer my question: why do I technically NEED FontLibrary for RealisticLifestock? It seems to me, that it doesn't need any font changing mod to function. I dont need font styling.

Because the update that it was mainly intended for is still in development (animal auctions), which uses a lot of dynamic text and requires different fonts. Besides the animal auctions, the ear tags also improved with FL. Without FL, i would be forced to use 1 of the following methods:

1. the previous method i was using for ear tags, which resulted in text with very bad spacing between characters and had a very limited alphabet
2. the engine 3D text renderer, which only supports 1 font and must be called every frame, as opposed to FL which is called only once (saving on performance) with multiple fonts

I've test wise commented out all calls for FB (font and 3d text stuff) in your mod. Ear tag text is gone but anything else seems working. Even the markings on the cattles backs are there. As I never look at the ear tags (though it is a nice feature) I will test it this way without FL. If it works over time I think I will stay with it without FL. RL is great though thanks for that!

The animal auctions will be rendering a large amount of text to the same effect. Without text rendering, auctions will be unplayable as text is used for the auction catalogs, digital info displays, custom NPC speech rendering and more, meaning attempting to play without FL will also result in auctions not being useble

There is a setting where you can opt into the engine's 2D renderer instead however while still having FL enabled

In multiplayer, issue remains on client everytime.
No changed any resolution etc. Sides swapped for test, server is ok, client allways have broken glitching text, with missing signs and multicolor effects (eg. white / black part of words). Latest two version are the same. Any ideas please?

latest versions works. it was necessary to load old versions first, then all three mods update to latest.
