NOTF Urban Thesis — Tracker

A single-file, local-only tracker for Rainmatter's Neighbourhoods of the Future (NOTF) urban thesis. Built from a strategy whiteboard (see IMG_4699.JPG).

Tabs

• Tracker — per-city board. Each of the five theme bets (Air · Water · Waste · Energy · Biodiversity) carries a headline KPI vs target over time (log values to record movement) and a list of initiatives (owner · due · status · % complete). Portfolio summary up top; live CPCB air feed per city.
• About — the thesis, the subsidiarity model, the five bets, how to use it, data provenance.
• Partners — Rainmatter Foundation grantees by theme (rainmatter.org/partners); Socratus is the NOTF executing partner.
• Operating Logic — the whiteboard model rendered as a diagram + the Theory-of-Change map (Field leaders → Urban intersection web + Rural/Wild + cross-context strip → Tools) + the M1–M8 "Starts" sequence + the original photo.

Operating Model page

operating-model.html is a standalone, shareable public page presenting the operating model / Theory of Change on its own URL (self-contained, no JavaScript). Live at https://ashwask.github.io/urban-thesis-tracker/operating-model.html.

The concept note behind it is Rainmatter Foundation's approach in Urban .docx (downloadable), which includes the "Where the Tracks Intersect" section — how each track's externality becomes another's input.

Data (baselines are open data; you track movement)

Air = CREA/CPCB 2024 (+ live CPCB via data.gov.in) · Waste = Swachh Survekshan 2024-25 · Energy = MNRE state rooftop solar (state-level) · Biodiversity = HUGSI 2024 · Water = AMRUT + BIS 2019 · QoL = Numbeo. NOTF is programme-active in Bengaluru only; other cities show data baselines with empty initiative lists. Verify figures before external use.
