"Sometimes you gotta run before you can walk." — and that's pretty much how every good thing I've built began. No blueprint, no idea how it'd end, just a suit half-assembled in the cave and the stubbornness to figure out the rest mid-flight. Curiosity is my radioactive spider-bite: it's why I build, why I keep asking questions, and why I keep falling down rabbit holes that have nothing to do with each other.
These days I'm a Member of Technical Staff at Scaler AI Labs, engineering repository-scale reinforcement learning environments for autonomous coding agents — curating real-world engineering tasks, authoring ground-truth patches, and building the adversarial harnesses that keep agents honest (no reward-hacking on my watch). Before earning the title, I was a founding SDE intern there, rebuilding entire SaaS worlds as training grounds for frontier models.
By day I'm also a Bachelors in Computer Science student at Birla Institute of Technology (2024–2028) — the academy arc before the Avengers arc.
When the suit comes off, it's Marvel marathons, astronomy till 3 AM, and Dostoevsky novels. Talk to me and we'll end up on software, Spider-Man, black holes, or why Dostoevsky read people better than S.H.I.E.L.D. ever could.
Every hero's got a workshop. Here's what came out of mine.
VibeExtract — the Mark III of my toolbox. A Chrome extension now suited up by 150+ engineers at Scaler AI Labs, cutting frontend component extraction time by up to 10x. It clones live DOM (Shadow DOM and iframes included) into pixel-perfect, standalone components and exports to a custom LLM-friendly format and self-contained HTML. JavaScript
Waves — comms that don't drop when the network does. An anonymous real-time chat built on a hybrid P2P + WebSocket architecture so it holds the line through bad signal, with CI/CD automated end to end via Render, webhooks, and CRON. MERN Socket.IO WebRTC
Vector — the one I founded and flew solo. A full-stack ed-tech platform shipped to 400+ students, with computer-based assessments and an AI-powered mock interview system running on vector memory in Supabase. MERN + TS Supabase
Every gauntlet needs its stones. Here are the ones I've collected so far.
| Stone | Conquest |
|---|---|
| 🟣 Power | Top 100 at Meta Hackathon 2026 |
| 🟡 Mind | 3-star at CodeChef (max rating 1649) |
| 🔵 Space | Finalist at Shaastra Programming Contest, IIT Madras |
Three down. The gauntlet's not full yet.
I do most of my building on my work account, shauryaverma-scaler — that's where the day-to-day engineering happens. Personal experiments run on Astro-Dude.
"Part of the journey is the end." — but I'm nowhere near the credits yet.
