Bumps schematex from 1.0.14 to 1.1.0.

v1.1.0

Engines across the library were reworked for visual correctness. Two diagram types now draw differently by default, and several inputs that used to parse are now rejected. No API changed, but the sections below are worth reading before upgrading a document you rely on.

Breaking — your existing documents may draw differently

  • Phylogenetic trees default to slanted branches. A tree with no layout: line used to draw elbow connectors; it now draws diagonals meeting at each ancestor. Add layout: rectangular to keep the old picture.
  • Git graph commit ids are horizontal. They used to be tilted about 45°. Set rotateCommitLabel: true to keep the tilt.
  • Fishbone causes hang from the tail side by default. config causeSide = head restores the ASQ orientation.
  • Every --> [*] in a state diagram now draws its own final circle. Two transitions to the final state used to share one; each now terminates where it is written, which is what UML shows.

Breaking — input that used to be accepted is now an error

Each of these used to draw something misleading rather than fail, so the error is the fix. All of them report the offending line.

  • Newick strings with unbalanced parentheses, or with content after the root.
  • Pedigree bracket tokens outside the documented set. The parser accepts twin-mz and twin-dz; adopted-in, triplet-mz, surrogate and the rest were never implemented and were silently ignored.
  • A twin flag that does not mark exactly two children of the same parents.
  • Genogram [initials: …], which was never drawn — use label:.
  • Genogram emotional relationships outside the McGoldrick set, and header lines carrying tokens the parser does not recognise.

Added

  • Circuit netlists can describe functional structure. Optional group, flow, pin roles and ordered physical bus declarations guide placement. Coordinates, bends and spacing stay with the engine, and simple circuits need none of it.
  • Genogram gains the vocabulary clinicians actually use: pregnancy status, step child relationships, external:, an [asOf: YYYY] header property, @key: "value" annotation blocks and labels on relationships. nonbinary and intersex are accepted sex values and draw as the diamond the symbol table already defined for them; the parser had been rejecting both.
  • Phylogenetic trees, git graphs and several other families gained a second presentation: phylo slanted and rectangular, gitgraph horizontal and vertical. Each is a variant with its own reference drawing.
  • Smaller additions: bare event labels in timelines, a title: statement in block diagrams, an SLD contactor, UML <<accepting>> / <<final>> state

... (truncated)
