Remote SSH terminals skip login profiles, so LANG was often unset and the shell fell back to the ASCII C locale. Switch LC_CTYPE to an installed UTF-8 locale before starting the shell when the current charmap is not UTF-8. Both terminals asked for a password-variation keyboard, which ColorOS and other IMEs answer with an ASCII-only secure keyboard. Request a normal text keyboard instead, and draw the remote terminal's composing text at the cursor. Co-Authored-By: Claude Opus 5.5 <noreply@anthropic.com>
The three picture levels fixed resolution and frame rate together, so combinations such as 1080p at 30 fps were not available. Add a Custom level that picks 720p to 4K and 30 to 120 fps, derives the bitrate from them on the same scale as the presets, and lowers a size larger than the computer's screen to fit it. The pro host editor only showed one address and port, so a host's other addresses were invisible, and editing the address dropped the trusted fingerprint. Edit now lists every address (network, last used, remove, add) like the IM computer settings, applies changes at once and keeps the pin; host cards show the address tried first plus how many others. The remote terminal drew with the system monospace font on pure black and the local one used a different size; both used Termux's harsh default ANSI colors and ran text into the screen edge.
