Hi, I’m Beijuka Bruno 👋

I’m an AI researcher and builder based in Kampala, Uganda, focused on developing practical, locally relevant AI solutions for healthcare. My work sits at the intersection of machine learning, clinical research, AI4 Social GoodAI in Health and real-world deployment, with a strong emphasis on underserved populations and female health.

I care about building systems that don’t just perform well in papers—but actually work where they are needed most.


What I Work On

My work spans both Natural Language Processing (NLP) and Computer Vision (CV), applied to healthcare challenges in low-resource settings.
