Welcome to the WSI-analysis wiki!
Given a segmented WSI we build a 1d simplicial complex using the uniform manifold approximation hypothesis. The reason to do so, instead of considering a kD-NN distance graph construction is because slides might have been perturbed, stretched or damaged. We want to rely on a more robust information than the fragile geometry, hence we use topology.
