UK marine ornamental imports 🐟 🪸

This repository contains the code used to clean and analyse data on the import of marine ornamental species into the United Kingdom.

Please note: some sensitive information in the code has been redacted for this public version.

Data

For completeness, some data files are provided. These are:

• data/modified-data/missing-taxa-identified.csv - taxa which have been manually identified according to the WoRMS taxonomy.
• data/modified-data/corrected-taxa.csv - misspelled taxa which have been corrected using the WoRMS taxonomy.

You will also need:

• A list of CITES listed taxa, available for download here.
• An API token for the IUCN Red List, available here.
  • This token should be placed in a file called .Renviron.
