Summary

Adds a new 1-hour virtual webinar event (events/2026-05-20-virtual-webinar/) — a presentation-format session introducing autonomous software engineering with Devin. This is lighter-weight than the hands-on workshops: it's structured as a talk track with a live walkthrough rather than participant-driven labs.

The event covers:

  • The autonomous engineering model (event-driven, large-scale, ongoing O&M)
  • Real-world use cases across the SDLC
  • Live walkthrough options (gap analysis, security remediation, or migration)
  • Adoption considerations and best practices
  • Audience adaptation guidance for different stakeholder types

References shared/general-themes/ documents for narrative consistency (those documents are introduced in PR #62).

Review & Testing Checklist for Human

Notes

  • This is a webinar/presentation format, not a hands-on workshop — intentionally uses "show" language rather than "try" language since attendees are watching, not doing.
  • The event is designed as a gateway to hands-on workshops (follow-up options section at the bottom).

- **Clean-room execution** — Devin starts with access to nothing; organizations grant scoped credentials (service accounts, API keys) for exactly the systems Devin needs
- **Context retrieval** — Devin retrieves context from indexed codebases and programmatically accesses remote resources via its shell and MCP integrations

🟡 All shared/general-themes/ references are broken links to non-existent directory and files

The document references multiple files under shared/general-themes/ (lines 47, 63, 109, 153, 154), but this directory does not exist anywhere in the repository. The shared/ directory only contains facilitator-guide.md, repo-naming-convention.md, and runtime-resources.md. No other event README in the repo references general-themes, so these aren't links that are expected to resolve from another PR. A facilitator following these references will hit dead links.

All broken references
  • Line 47: shared/general-themes/when-to-use-devin.md, shared/general-themes/architecture-strengths.md
  • Line 63: shared/general-themes/when-to-use-devin.md

Acknowledged — this is an intentional dependency on PR #62 (content-seed branch). The PR description already notes: "References shared/general-themes/ documents for narrative consistency (those documents are introduced in PR #62)." PR #62 should merge first.

This is an intentional dependency on PR #62 (content-seed branch), which introduces the shared/general-themes/ directory. PR #62 should merge first — this is noted in the PR description under "Check general-themes dependency."
