SmartRAN Studio v0.1.0 – Initial Alpha Release

This is the first public alpha release of SmartRAN Studio, an open source AI-RAN development kit for wireless network intelligence.
This release includes the foundational system architecture and early functionality across the frontend, backend, and simulation engine.

Included in this release

  • Web-based CLI interface (React + Vite)
  • FastAPI backend gateway for command routing
  • Basic Sionna-based RF simulation flow
  • GPU-enabled simulation container (TensorFlow + CUDA)
  • Early database integration (ArangoDB)
  • Initial project structure for future AI-RAN pipelines
  • Contributor guidelines, code of conduct, and security policy

Notes

  • This is an alpha release. APIs, commands, and interfaces may change.
  • Not production-ready; intended for early adopters, contributors, and researchers.
