fix: restore origin export prefs after localStorage.clear() - #1317
Fixes E2E failure on run 40219843119: after localStorage.clear(), preference write-through left an established SQLite/map without export-only keys, so origin repair restored the top-level marker and finalize then dropped it.
Origin repair now merges top-level preference caches into the canonical map, replaces incomplete (non-baseline) envelopes on import, and gap-fills SQLite preference rows so newer choices still win over a replayed export.
Test plan
pnpm exec vitest run on rendererPreferences, durableRendererSettings, webStorageOriginMigration (pre-commit related)
Re-run workflow E2E on this branch (or after merge on main) and confirm e2e/renderer-origin.spec.ts “preserves legacy data… repairs empty storage” passes on linux/mac/windows
Summary by CodeRabbit
Bug Fixes
Improved recovery of saved preferences during migration and import, helping preserve existing protocol, font-scale, and theme-color settings.
Restored exported preferences when migration markers are missing, while keeping current settings when they conflict with exported values.
Incoming preferences now fill gaps without overwriting existing choices.
Explicitly reset preferences remain reset instead of being restored from an export.
It looks like this branch is under active development. To avoid overwhelming you with review comments due to an influx of new commits, CodeRabbit has automatically paused this review. You can configure this behavior by changing the reviews.auto_review.auto_pause_after_reviewed_commits setting.
Preference-envelope helpers now parse and merge preference values. Durable settings migration and web storage migration use these helpers and preserve established values and explicit-reset baselines.

Summary
Preference-envelope parsing and merging src/shared/rendererPreferences.ts, src/shared/rendererPreferences.test.ts
New helpers parse valid preference envelopes and merge incoming values without replacing existing values on conflicts. Tests cover malformed envelopes, empty maps, and explicit-reset baselines.
Origin repair can copy inline credentials from legacy app settings into the rendererPreferences recovery map, creating an extra plaintext copy. Sanitize current-origin values before merging them. The earlier concern about stale exported values overriding current choices is fixed.

Preserve current canonical preference values during repair.
When repairStorage merges the current map with the recovery export, an export-only top-level key remains in the merged entries. withRebuiltPreferenceMap then lets that old scalar overwrite the current map value. Track whether each top-level value came from the current origin before allowing it to override the canonical map.
The existing test covers only export-only keys filling gaps. It does not cover a conflict between a current map value and an old exported scalar.

behavior where export-only keys fill gaps, and ensure a conflicting export-only
