This is currently blocked by 2 dependencies, which must be updated to 1.8 before we can update

Blocked by

  • Microsoft.Xaml.Behaviors.WinUI.Managed (Currently on version 3.0.0 - using wasdk 1.6.250108002)
  • Microsoft.Graphics.Win2D (Currently on version 1.3.2 - using wask 1.6.241114003)

@Sergio0694 the releases on GitHub for the XAML Behaviors I think are still out-of-date, has the update for the package been shipped to NuGet yet, is that something we can do?

Also, any idea on Win2D getting updated?

Win2D has been updated.

Might as well wait for 2.0

I would like to see this done ASAP, since downstream users are currently prevented from just referencing WindowsAppSDK.WinUI (without pulling in the entire SDK)
