Manual signing had no profile, so Xcode 26 stopped the archive asking for App Groups. The workflow now installs one Apple Distribution certificate and App Store profiles for the app and share extension, and points only those targets at them. The merge of #153 got past the Xcode 26 Automatic + Apple Distribution error, then the archive died because manual signing had no provisioning profile with App Groups.
This workflow uses the existing Admin API key to reuse or create one Apple Distribution certificate and App Store profiles for
com.sanylax.continuityand the share extension, includinggroup.com.sanylax.continuity. Those profiles are applied only to the two app targets, so YouTubeKit is not given a Distribution identity. Local Release archives stay on Automatic signing.After this merges, the TestFlight workflow runs on
main. A green run is usually 15–40 minutes, then App Store Connect processing is often another 10–30 minutes before Internal testers see the build.Slack Thread
