The superseded 2.1 documentation workspace is preserved under .specsync/retired/2026-10-18-superseded-docs with all 12 original files, original verifying state and approval history unchanged. The manifest binds SHA-256 values to source commit 48ff62f. This is retirement, not a claim that the old work completed.

All 2,256 non-lifecycle tracked files are unchanged. Filesystem negative controls reject missing/altered/extra snapshot files and an invented archived state. Canonical strict validation and lifecycle controls pass. Native strict scoped verification passes for the retirement operation and refreshed viewer records. Strict active audit now has one error: changed previously-enabled policy coverage after archival; it remains enforced.

The retirement operation awaits actual current human implementation review before native finalization. No review or acceptance was invented. Fresh unchanged-source tests on Ubuntu ARM64: Bun storage/structured/file-composition 301 passed (763,715 assertions); Swift storage/composition 47 passed; Rust focused storage 1 passed and structured 23 passed/1 existing ignored. Checksum-verified official Godot 4.7.2 passed the repository headless import/numeric/NFC/text/binary/composition/files/edit/examples suite without SCRIPT ERROR or ERROR; the showcase retains a three-ObjectDB-instance shutdown leak warning. Sixteen-pair interchange passed: 569 cases, 31,984 imports, 1,999 per pair, optional Apple LZFSE excluded.

Initial sandbox restrictions broke Node-child output and Godot config/socket initialization; unchanged reruns with permitted execution and isolated test configuration passed. No new 1 GB/5 GB allocation run, human review, acceptance or source/lifecycle change is claimed. The three strict audit blockers remain.

Manual lifecycle repair — 2026-10-18

Current head: 48ff62f8e44f4b6cced9e35c984085764659c282 (corvid-agent). Evidence-preserving repairs normalize five plans, record two missing constraints answers from existing decisions, and refresh viewer documentation/canvas verification through native change check --strict --commit. No new human approval, review or acceptance was recorded. The rollout archive remains historical evidence for its original approved implementation head.

Local canonical validation, lifecycle regression controls and both scoped checks pass. Strict audit now reports three errors: already-enabled policy coverage after native archive; an older 2.1.0 documentation delta conflicting with current 2.2.1 REQ-ThreeMD-044; and that documentation record's stale verification. Six older active records remain, so archive readiness is blocked. Full hosted CI is now terminal at this exact head: Linux, Sculpt, Trust and all CodeQL analyses pass; archive-readiness fails with the same three local errors. Overall CI remains red and this PR is not merge-ready.

The proposed requirement correction preserves current 2.2.1 canonical facts, but native verification requires renewed delta approval. Godot and uncapped-storage definitions are complete but unapproved. Viewer documentation and canvas records await actual current human review. Structured-binary work still has incomplete tasks, including deferred CLI/performance/compatibility scope. No unresolved work has been marked complete or archived.

The specifically authorized human review is recorded for implementation aa35d5c. Native finalization archived only this rollout package and pushed archive tip ca5e270. Recorder/publisher: corvid-agent; human reviewer claim: 0xLeif. The narrow authorization transcript is separately preserved. No agent-performed human inspection is claimed.

Overall CI remains RED. Archive readiness retains all nine inherited errors and adds the confirmed SpecSync6.1.1 policy-coverage limitation: its active-only coverage check does not recognize the natively archived policy change. Older records were not repaired, accepted or archived. No guard weakening, comparison-base change or merge. Linux, Sculpt and Trust have passed on this tip; consult checks for remaining analysis.

Original preparation description and test evidence:

Change

Adopt the approved SpecSync 6.1.1 delivery lifecycle for root 3md, Godot and Sculpt governance: pin the checksum-verified writer and Trust selector, retain required existing coverage and add gdscript/, apps/sculpt/, .agents/, refresh four native agent skills, and add a non-mutating lifecycle guard with regression controls.

Product Trust and archive readiness are separate jobs so product evidence can finish before human review and same-PR finalization. Existing checks, Trust 1.2.2/Fledge 1.7.2 pins, coverage 100%, risk/provenance policies, .specsync/version, Sculpt specs and element/dist are preserved. PR #98's Fledge/bundle implementation remains untouched.

Verification and blockers

• Canonical strict 100% and native scoped change check --strict --commit pass; 15 lifecycle fixture controls pass, including missing/ignored coverage, wrong version, disabled flags and unfinished workspaces. The actual installed 6.1.0 binary is also rejected. Genuine reviewed/finalized positive acceptance remains manual.
• Root fledge lanes run verify passed all 8 steps: 315 Swift, 431 JS, 115 Rust tests (one existing ignored exhaustive mutant test), nine-pair interchange, bundle drift and editor grammar checks.
• Global strict audit still fails the same 9 inherited errors: incomplete plans/interviews, the REQ-ThreeMD-044 content collision, and stale verification. They need their owners' separate recovery; no record was exempted, accepted or archived. Archive readiness is expected to remain red.
• Sculpt Linux compilation fails because lzfse.h is missing. Godot is unavailable on this VM. macOS Sculpt acceptance remains unrun. These are not claimed passes.
• The first Trust run was interrupted for disk cleanup, not passed. The final Trust rerun passed (exit 0) on exact candidate aa35d5cff5df3eeac55f69dba538026e6c9da2a6; Augur returned proceed, risk 33. Provenance remains degraded under the unchanged soft policy; no signed provenance claim. Disk monitoring stayed above 12.61 GB, with no stop condition.
