Device initialization requires all three immutable identity registers to match: DEVID_AD=0xAD, DEVID_MST=0x1D, and the part ID selected by the devicetree variant. ADXL366 and ADXL367 both use the documented PART_ID=0xF7, so either declared variant accepts that shared silicon identity.
